Our home is fairly contemporary, so when it came to finishing our basement, we wanted to be transported... to a log cabin..of course.
Lots of space to store barware / beverages
William McKee , I believe he's our grandmother's Grandfather... maybe..
Or shuffle board (not shown)
I think this year we were able to host a nice prom-meal for about 16 kids. We used this space for a couple years to save the kiddo's a few bucks on their Prom outing.
I dabbled a little in Stained glass work with the help of my mother-in-law and father-in-law. This is an original design lamp that we attached to a scrap piece of teak as the base. We also made a few glass Kaleidoscopes and hanging art, but don't have photos handy. So, maybe I'll add them later (but there's no woodworking involved in those).
